As Lanworth’s president, Shailu leads operations and sales. Prior to co-founding Lanworth he worked at General Motors and McKinsey & Co. At GM, he worked in design and operations supervision and was awarded six patents.
Shailu serves on the board of Forest Resource Association. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Management degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Dr. Nick Kouchoukos

As Vice President, Products, Nick provides analytical and technical oversight for Lanworth’s natural resource intelligence operations. Trained in geography and the social sciences, he has twenty years’ experience in the application of remote sensing and geospatial analysis to monitoring agro-forest production. Nick has been awarded numerous grants and fellowships to support field and laboratory research in the United States, Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Lanworth, he held faculty positions at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and The University of Chicago. Nick received his education at Yale University. A recognized industry expert, he has been quoted in major media outlets including Reuters, Dow Jones, Bloomberg News, The Chicago Tribune, Wired magazine, Futures magazine, Agribusiness Dairyman, and Max Armstrong’s This Week in Agribusiness.

Alicia Cramer
Chief Executive Officer
A native of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, Alicia received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and sociology, with a minor in physics, from Thiel College.
She has over 20 years experience in the packaging industry including 13 years with The Westervelt Company (then known as Gulf States Paper Corporation) and eight years in various packaging positions with H.J. Heinz Company and Campbell’s Soup. Alicia assumed her current role as Vice President, Business Development at the Westervelt Company in 2005. She serves as Business Leader for Westervelt Ecological Services, Westervelt Realty, and the Recreation division.

Michael E. Case
Board Member
A Decatur, Alabama native, Mike received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in marketing from the University of Alabama.
Mike began his career in the packaging industry when he joined Gulf States Paper Corporation in 1981. He served in a variety of sales and marketing positions in the Packaging and Paperboard areas before being promoted to Vice President for Sales in the Pulp & Paperboard Division in 1993. He has since served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Executive Vice President for Pulp and Paperboard. In 1999, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer before being named President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000.

Michael J. Williams
Board Member
A native of Maysville, Kentucky, Mike received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Morehead State University. He also completed the Duke Advanced Management Program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, has attained Process Mastery certification, and is a senior member of the American Society for Quality and a member of the Institute for Supply Management.
Mike began his career as a manufacturing engineer in the Plastics Machinery Division at Cincinnati Milacron, and later joined The Westervelt Company (then known as Gulf States Paper Corporation) where he has over 25 years experience in the packaging and forest products industries. Since 2006 Mike has served as Director of Strategy, Planning and Process Management. Mike is also an advisory board member for the London-based Earth Capital Partners LLP. In his current role Mike is involved in forestry, lumber, renewable energy, carbon sequestration, mitigation banking, and real estate projects, in addition to corporate acquisitions and divestitures.

Scott Allen
Advisory Board Member
A native of Circleville, Ohio, Scott began his career in 1977 in the consumer packaged goods industry when he joined Nestlé (then known as Carnation Company). He served in a variety of operations and supply chain positions in their animal feed division before being promoted to Director of Procurement for the Eastern Region.
In 1985 he relocated to Nestlé U.S.A.’s headquarters in Los Angeles where he served as Vice President of Procurement. In 1994, Scott joined H.J. Heinz Company where he became the Global Vice President and Chief Procurement Office in 2000. In 2005, Scott served as the Chief Procurement Officer for Del Monte Foods. Today, Scott serves as a Senior Procurement Advisor to Smithfield Foods.
